Driver Sues The Spitfire Over 16 Minute Wait

A mixed bag of critique has appeared on social media recently with regards to the re-opening of The Spitfire Pub on Kings Hill.

Since opening, it seems apparent a few teething problems with staff numbers vs customer volume is leading to unwelcomed waiting time at the bar. Whereas others have been quick to “I’ll see your negative critique and I’ll raise you two positive critiques” within the same threads.

Whilst some have stated there is a media ban for negative comments, a driver today has taken the argument to a new level by taking The Spitfire to court.

“It took me 16 minutes to get a pint!” said Harry Palmer.

“I left my house on phase 2, drove down Beacon Avenue and sat there giving way for 6 minutes because of all the f*cking cars parked outside their houses” ranted Harry.

“I turned round and tried Regency Avenue instead. F*ck me! It’s worse! I sat there giving way for another 6 minutes before eventually making my way on to tower view.”

It’s alleged by the time he got parked, it was another 3 minutes which led to 1 minute of waiting time at the bar.

“Sod this. I’m going back to the Cricket Club!”

We contacted the Spitfire who deny any involvement of residents Parking their cars on the road instead of driveways, and will be standing their ground should the proceedings make it to court.
