What with news earlier today of 'Pete the Pirate' from TOWIE visiting Kent this weekend, we now follow with #BREAKING news that the Gemma Collins is causing a right ole 'Kerfuffle' amongst TV Channels.
As many of you would have seen, Gemma recently presented an award at the BBC Radio 1's Teen Awards, and immediately after announcing a gong, she turned around without looking where she was stepping and proceeded to do an 'Uncle Albert', and fell down a stage door!
(Look it up - it was damn funny!)
Of course, this is the BBC's fault. "They ain't even apologised of nuffin, I ain't Aving it!" said Gemma.
"That bird never briefed me on this! She never told me to look where I was stepping, it's a bloody outrage hun!"
It get's complicated furthermore.
The BBC have since tried to flog the Video into 'You've Been Framed' with the idea that £250 quid reward should be enough to shut the trappy big bird up and drop her idle 'I'll faaaking sue em' threats.
However, ITV have stated a conflict of interest. Not only do they not like the idea of accepting material from a rival station, but TOWIE the TV program is aired on ITVBe channel, and they don't want their superstar's looking silly on another show of their own. "It might upset Gemma" said an ITV Spokes person. The BBC are looking to sue them on the grounds of unfair competition and cartel like behaviour.
A young trainee working at the BBC has come up with an idea to appease the situation who apparently watches the show and understands the characters personalities. He's suggested a quick trip over the bridge to Coscto for a tray of Muffins and an appointment at the nearest spiritualist courtesy of the BBC should result in no further action.
